Brancaster Community Sports Club
The Parish Council owns Brancaster Playing Field, and this is kindly managed for us by Brancaster Community Sports Club.
Membership of the club allows free use of the sports court and provision of a Bar71 loyalty card that entitles you to a 10% discount on drinks and refreshments at the bar.
Annual family membership (runs from 1st July-30th June) is charged at £60 (updated 2024) and online payment can be made to: Account number 13046036. Sort code 20-46-65. Please reference your surname and notify the Membership Secretary dianawalton1@gmail.com
Casual users of the sports court pay an hourly fee of £5 into the Honesty Box. During high season weekly booking sheets for the court are posted on the notice board.
Tennis
Deepdale and Brancaster Staithe Tennis Club
Deepdale and Brancaster Staithe Tennis Club is an LTA registered club. It has two hard courts and a small hut/clubhouse. You will find them at the far end of the playing field near the Village Hall in the heart of Brancaster Staithe. The courts were resurfaced in 2012 and are kept in top condition. They are open all year round.
The Club actively promotes and encourages junior tennis with coaching sessions from spring to autumn. They sometimes hold a junior fun tournament to which children from other clubs are invited.
The Club has more than 200 members. Court booking is available free for members. Visitors may also Pay and Play via our website. All court bookings are made online using ClubSpark, the LTA’s secure system.
The club welcomes new members.
